Job summary

DayToDay Health seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations in multiple settings. You will develop individualized therapy plans and monitor progress, while educating patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies.

The ideal candidate holds state licensure, current BLS, and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC, with strong documentation and team collaboration

Job description

Role

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations in various settings.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize assessments and clinical observations to develop individualized therapy plans, monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document accurately. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safety practices. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care, adhere to safety and infection control protocols, and participate in continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid state licensure, current BLS certification, and preferably a Master’s or higher degree in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC. Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, work effectively with diverse teams, and manage detailed documentation. Must handle frequent public contact, work flexibly, and possess strong sensory and motor abilities.
