Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Westland, Michigan. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, designing individualized therapy plans and collaborating with a clinical team.

The role requires an active SLP license, current BLS, and preferred CCC-SLP and state licensure. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current CCC-SLP certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized tests.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on effective communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and quality assurance activities.
