Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Houghton Lake, MI. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing individualized therapy plans and collaborating with a clinical team.

Requirements include an active SLP license, current BLS, and CCC-SLP preferred. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, licensure reimbursement, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Utilize standardized assessments and clinical observation to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices
• Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain detailed, accurate documentation in the EMR
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies, home-based exercises, and safe swallowing practices
• Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate a comprehensive approach to patient care
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards
