Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Westland, Michigan. As a Speech Therapist, you will assess patients, diagnose disorders that can impact swallowing and speaking, and provide treatment.

You will also counsel individuals and families and update patient records. The role is a 13-week travel assignment with 35 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan license.
• Advanced degree from an accredited program.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion.
• Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension.
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and diagnose disorders affecting swallowing and speaking.
• Provide therapy/treatment to patients.
• Counsel patients and families on treatment plans and progress.
• Update patient records according to department processes.
