Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Marshall, MI. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patients, following evidence-based practices and collaborating with a clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology (preferred).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following safety and infection control guidelines.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
