TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Williamsport, MD. The role focuses on evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting, with a 13-week duration and 32 hours per week.

BLS, ASHA-SLP, and state licensure are required. Ideal candidates have 1 year of experience, though 6 months may be considered for exceptional backgrounds.

Formación

• 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• ASHA-SLP National Certification and state licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to meet diverse patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.
