Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for an immediate travel assignment in Franklin, MA. The SLP will support acute care patients, with a focus on speech, voice, and swallowing disorders, across a 13-week duration.

Requirements include ASHA-SLP certification, state licensure, BLS, and 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates). Travel schedule is 40 hours/week with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• SLP must assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Competent in documenting patient progress per guidelines.
• Ability to educate patients and families about conditions and plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose or screen speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Educate patients and families on disorders and treatment options.
• Document progress and communicate with care teams.
