Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology required.
• BLS and ASHA SLP certification with state licensing required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress and status to families, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely documentation following state and insurance guidelines.
