Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for an immediate travel opening in Springfield, OR. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts. ASAP start; 1 year experience preferred but 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.

BLS and ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensing are required. Responsibilities include evaluating patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments, creating therapy plans, and documenting progress

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
