Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment in Rescue, CA. The OT will evaluate students, develop and provide therapy services, and document care according to each student’s plan.

Requirements include active OT licensure in the state, CPR if applicable, and compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice.
• One year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The OT is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.
