Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time, 14-week assignment on the night shift (7pm–7am). This temporary full-time role offers $80.00/hr with no benefits and requires NBRC RRT and state license.

Candidates should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy; BLS is required at hire. One year of clinical experience is preferred, with NBRC RRT due within six months for new graduates.

Qualifications

• RRT certification and Virginia state license.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
• New graduates must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement physician-directed respiratory care interventions.
• Collaborate with nursing and health care team across ages neonates to adults.
• Ensure age-appropriate assessment and treatment; protect PHI as needed.
