Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time, 14-week assignment on the night shift. This travel position supports NBRC RRT credentialed clinicians and requires state licensure and BLS.

Two degree options are accepted: an Associate's or a Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy. Candidates with RRT credentials prior to 2006 or military RT graduates will be considered. NBRC RRT must be obtained within 6 months for new grads.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree required.
• State license, active NBRC RRT and BLS required at time of hire.
• For new graduates only, must have State license and BLS at time of hire, and must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement physician-directed respiratory care interventions.
• Provide respiratory care across all ages from neonates to adults.
• Collaborate with nursing and health care team to ensure appropriate care.
