Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Travel RNFA - First Assist RN to join our client in Chico, CA. You will assist surgeons during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care on a 13-week contract.

Requirements include BSN, RN licensure, AHA BLS, First Assist RN certification, and perioperative nursing certification, plus operating room experience and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Two years of OR experience required.
• Must be BSN-educated and properly licensed as RN.
• Certification as a First Assist RN and perioperative nursing certification required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers current.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsabilidades

• Assist surgeon in general and specialized surgeries.
• Prepare patients for surgery.
• Provide patient care and support.
• Administer medications.
• Perform surgical procedures such as bleeding control, suturing, draping and tissue handling.
• Prepare supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Position patient on operating table and monitor vitals.
• Educate patient and family on operation and aftercare.
• Conduct post-operative assessments and monitoring.
• Perform CPR or emergency measures if required.
• Handle other responsibilities as needed.

Travel RNFA - First Assist RN Registered Nurse

We currently have a client in CHICO, CA looking for a Travel RNFA - First Assist RN Registered Nurse! Focus Staff is seeking a traveling First Assist RN to assist and work alongside a surgeon during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.

Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary) Shift: 4x10 Days Rewards: (First Assist RN Benefits) Pay depends on location and experience. Job staffing in all 50 states.

Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Requirements

• Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
• AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
• BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
• Certification as a First Assist RN, certification in perioperative nursing
• Operating room experience required
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare all necessary supplies

• Perform post-operative assessments and monitoring
• Perform CPR or emergency measures if required
• All other responsibilities as needed
