Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Med-Surg/Tele unit on the day shift. The assignment is 13 weeks long and requires at least 1 year of recent specialty experience with an active TN or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include providing nursing care to stepdown-level med/surg/telemetry patients on a day shift, with RTO requests limited to under one week. Local residence within 50 miles is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in stepdown/telemetry nursing.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg/Tele stepdown unit within a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Provide nursing care to stepdown-level med/surg/telemetry patients.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
