Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Step Down RN for a night shift assignment in Cookeville, TN. Candidates must have at least 2 years of RN experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Requires an Active TN or compact RN license, plus current BLS and ACLS certifications. Night shift is 3x12 hours (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every-other weekend, no on-call, and uses Paragon charting system.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Step Down unit setting
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Paragon charting system
• No RTO permitted from 2/08/27-3/31/27 due to an Epic implementation
• Must reside outside a 50 mile radius to be eligible
• First time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Travel pairs are allowed
