American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown/PCU RN for a night shift position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent Stepdown/PCU experience.
- Work in the Stepdown/PCU nursing unit of a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Active OH RN license or active compact state RN license in hand
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 18 months recent Stepdown/PCU experience, preferably within the last 3 years
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
- No open background check cases accepted
- No hits on professional license accepted
- Provide nursing care to Stepdown/PCU patients
- COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
- Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
- Expected to work every other holiday
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
- First-time travelers are not being considered for this role
