American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring MI licensure and prior Neuro PCU experience.

The position includes 12-hour night shifts, travel-friendly benefits, and a comprehensive housing/relocation package. You must hold an active Michigan RN license (no compact), BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and meet the PCU requirements. Local candidates within 50 miles are welcome for a 13-week contract.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required (compact license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to PCU specialty, required for consideration
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required for consideration

Responsabilités

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a full-service hospital with a level II trauma center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Patient ratio ranges from 1:4-5 (target) to 1:6
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 1900-0715, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, treatments, education, and responding to alarms
• Evaluate treatment plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care as needed
• Function as a team leader/member, delegating and directing support staff
• Recent travel work history highly preferred
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered, limited to one 13-week contract
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
