Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN for a float pool role in North Carolina. Requires NC/compact RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and at least one year of nursing experience. Epic EMR experience preferred. Night shifts, 36 hours weekly, with every other weekend and holiday on rotation.

Role covers ICU, Intermediate Care, Med-Surg, and ED holding through a centralized Staffing Response Team. Housing and licensure reimbursements provided as part of benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or compact) required.
• BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• Nursing Diploma/ADN/ASN required; BSN/MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float pool nursing in ICU, Intermediate Care, Med-Surg, and ED holding.
• Float to units within qualified area and certifications held.
• Night shift, 7:00pm-7:00am; 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Deliver competent clinical nursing care within a hospital setting and coordinate patient care under supervision.
• Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care coordination.
• Engage in performance improvement activities and unit goal development.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting within a centralized float pool (Staffing Response Team) covering ICU, Intermediate Care, Med-Surg, and ED holding
• Floats to units within qualified area and certifications held
• Night shift, 7:00pm-7:00am

• Delivers competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards within a hospital setting
