Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Virginia. Requires VA or Compact RN license and a minimum of 12 months of applicable experience. BSN preferred and graduation from ACEN/CCNE-accredited program with license verification.

The role features night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00) with a 13-week assignment. Travelers must meet policy requirements and may have scheduling constraints. Open positions: 2.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; diploma/Associate's/BSN accepted
• Graduated from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program; license verification required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• 13-week assignment length
• Scheduling limited to 40 hours per week unless approved by the unit manager
• Facility is a drug and tobacco free workplace; smoking not permitted on campus
• Natural nail policy followed
• Travelers must not have been employed by this health system within the previous six months
• Submit time-off requests at consideration; holidays not guaranteed
