Job summary
American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for a high-functioning Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management expertise. You will support respiratory care, IV therapy, and line management in a Magnet-level facility.
The role requires 2+ years RN experience, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and EPIC EMR proficiency. Shift is 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, with holiday rotation and no on-call duties.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) at time of consideration.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
- Cardiac telemetry experience required.
- Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Peripheral line and PICC line care/management experience.
- Experience titrating drips.
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (Pass/Fail, two attempts allowed).
- Current driver's license required to verify address.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include respiratory support, IV therapy, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, and wound care.
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response duties including dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
- Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management preferred.

- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Holiday rotation required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required to any Cone Health campus as needed
- EPIC EMR experience required
