Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Neuro Progressive Care Unit in Tennessee. This travel position requires 2+ years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include a 3x12-hour shift pattern (19:00–07:00), patient loads of 4:1 days and 5:1 nights, and charting in Paragon. You must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel pay; travel policies apply and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS, NIHSS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Neuro experience a plus.
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required.
• References required for consideration.

• Stepdown Neuro unit within a Progressive Care Unit setting.
• Mixed schedule of 1 day shift and 1 night shift per week, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:00.
• Patient ratios of 4:1 on days and 5:1 on nights.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius to be eligible for travel pay rate.
• No RTO accepted between 2/8/26 and 3/26/26.
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role.
• Charting system used is Paragon.
• Provide stepdown-level nursing care to neuro patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

• Cardiac experience preferred
