Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position in Georgia. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with 12-hour day shifts, 7A–730P, and no on-call duties in a hospital setting.

The role requires an active GA or Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, and at least 2 years of progressive care experience. Generous housing allowance and travel/licensure support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in progressive care, step-down, or intermediate care.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting.
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, schedule varies between 7A-730P.
• 13-week assignment length.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Provide nursing care to patients in a step-down or intermediate care setting.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered.
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before applying as a non-local traveler.
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made.
