Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Nebraska. The role requires an active NE or Compact RN license and 2+ years of stepdown/telemetry experience.

You will titrate drips, read telemetry, and provide direct patient care in a 40-bed unit with 1:4-5 ratios. Compensation includes housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and benefits; 12-hour night shifts are required with every other weekend, and candidates must reside within

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NE or Compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Competency with arterial lines.
• Ability to perform overhead and portable patient lifts.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult cardiac med/surg, dialysis, oncology, vascular, sepsis, respiratory, stroke, post-stent, post-pacer, and renal failure patients.
• Titrat e drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently.
• Use EPIC EMR for charting and orders.
• Float to MedSurg or ICU to manage PCU acuity patients.
