Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role requires a NE or compact RN license and strong critical care certifications for night shift, 12-hour shifts, 1830-0700, 36 hours per week.

You will work in a 35-bed Progressive Care Unit, managing cardiac, nephrology, stroke cases and titrating drips. Onboarding starts ASAP with orientation, travel and licensure reimbursements apply.

Qualifications

• Active NE or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to titrate cardiac and seizure drips.
• Driver's license required for residence verification.
• Residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Pass a 90% open-book skills exam during orientation.
• Two references: supervisor and supervisor/peer.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 35-bed Progressive Care Unit (stepdown) in an acute hospital.
• Titrate drips such as Cardizem, beta blockers, seizure meds.
• Cover 12-hour night shifts, 1830–0700.
• Float to medical floors, ICU or rehab as needed.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and techs in a fast-paced team.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient records and care plans.
