American Traveler is seeking a travel RN to work in a 33-bed Stepdown/PCU unit in Grand Island, Nebraska, for a 13-week assignment on 12-hour day shifts. The role requires an active NE or compact RN license, at least 2 years of RN experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, titrating critical drips, charting in Epic EMR, and providing high-quality bedside care with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Travel benefits and stipends are included.

Qualifications

• Active NE or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a similar setting.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and titrating critical drips.

Responsabilités

• Work in a 33-bed Stepdown/PCU unit within an acute care hospital.
• Patient population includes young adults through geriatrics with multiple diagnoses.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5.
• titrate drips including Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, IV antibiotics, and Insulin.
• Uses Epic EMR for charting.
