Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Cardiac Care Unit, night shift, with at least 1 year of telemetry/PCU experience. TX or compact RN license required, plus BLS and NIH Stroke Certification for PCU placement.

The role offers a 13-week assignment with housing allowance and travel/licensure reimbursements. Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and be able to provide required references and SSN/DOB for processing.

Qualifications

• Active TX RN license or compact license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
• NIH Stroke Certification required for PCU placement.
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry/progressive care experience.
• No certifications expiring within 30 days of start date.
• No 90-day employment gaps within past 12 months.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care to PCCU patients.
• Work on night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Rerman 13-week assignment length.
• Operate in a Progressive Cardiac Care Unit setting.
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.
