Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a PCU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Colorado. The role requires an active CO or compact RN license and PALS certification, with ADN and 2–3 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities include working in a Rural Critical Access Hospital's Patient Care Unit, night shift, and serving as the primary nurse within an interdisciplinary team. Housing is not provided and is difficult to secure in the area due to high elevation.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted CO or compact RN license
• ADN required
• BLS certification (may be obtained upon hire)
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience required

• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• 13-week assignment length
• Serve as the primary nurse providing care within an interdisciplinary team
• Must be physically able to safely function in a high-altitude, low-oxygen environment (8,000 ft elevation)
• No RTO accepted during the assignment
• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing, which is limited and costly in the surrounding area
