Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring a compact or LA RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification. Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.

The role entails ICU care, 44-patient census, night shifts (18:45-07:15), and on-site orientation. Candidates must reside >65 miles from the facility. Responsibilities include direct patient care for cardiovascular, neuro, trauma, and surgical cases, with Epic charting system experience preferred

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact or LA) in hand at submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill ICU patients including cardiovascular, neuro, trauma, and surgical cases
• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Average daily census of 44 patients
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45-07:15)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• May be assigned to an emergency response team during facility emergencies
• Orientation held five days per week
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
