Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit on a night shift. Requires 1.5+ years of RN experience and NC or Compact licensure. The team uses Meditech EMR and a 22-bed unit with adult/geriatric patients.

Position offers travel-friendly benefits, housing allowance, and start dates with bi-weekly orientation. Weekend work rotations and no call obligations apply for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 1.5 years RN experience
• Associate degree required, BSN preferred
• EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills preferred
• Experience managing discharges, admissions, and basic cardiac drip knowledge preferred
• Artificial nails not permitted

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care in a Med/Surg overflow unit
• Care for 22-bed unit with adult and geriatric patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1
• Manage care for CHF, chest pain, ARF, COPD, diabetes, CKD, post-cardiac cath patients
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with every-other or every-3rd weekend
• Floating to other units as needed
• No call requirements and use of Meditech EMR
