Job summary

American Traveler, LLC invites an experienced RN to join an Intermediate Care Telemetry unit on a night shift, offering 3x12s and 4:1 patient ratios in a 16-bed IMC setting with cardiac care focus.

The role requires an Oklahoma (or Compact) RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, ECG/telemetry proficiency, and travel-ready candidate willing to float within a 75-mile radius as needed. Night shifts, competitive pay, and travel support provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• EKG course/telemetry proficiency required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience.
• 1:4 patient ratio experience required.
• Experience with IV therapy, line care, blood products, and PICC line management preferred.
• Respiratory support skills (BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube, high flow) preferred.
• Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation preferred.
• Experience with cardiac drips, heparin protocols, and PCA management preferred.
• Post-cath care, sheath removal, TR band preferred.
• Wound care and drainage management preferred.

Responsibilities

• IMC/MS stepdown unit specializing in cardiology and post-surgery patients.
• Monitor patients, administer meds, and provide post-procedure care.
• Float to other units within a 75-mile radius as needed.
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30, 3x12 hours.
• Maintain patient safety with a 4:1 ratio and keep Epic charting up to date.
