Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Night Shift RN to work in the ED Observation unit requiring step-down/PCU experience and a CO or compact RN license. The role includes a 3x12 night schedule (1900-0730), rotating weekends, and floating to related units. Epic charting is used; DOB and SSN last four are required for consideration.
The ideal candidate has an ASN (BSN preferred) and current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certificates. This is a full-time hospital position in Colorado.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (CO or compact)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications that don’t expire before start date
- Minimum 1 year in ED Observation or step-down/PCU
- DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Work in the ED Observation unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
- Rotating weekends required
- Floating to Tele units, Ortho surgical trauma, step-down units as needed
- Use Epic for charting and perform nursing duties per state Board standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Provide health teaching and counseling to patients
- Document treatment plans per guidelines
