American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract in Kansas. The ideal candidate has an active KS RN or Compact RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting. New graduates are not eligible.

Responsibilities include telemetry rhythm interpretation on a hospital Telemetry unit with Epic EMR, 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730), and weekend coverage as required. Travel/local candidates accepted at the same rate.

Formación

• Active KS RN or Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ADN or higher required.
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience within last 18 months in a hospital setting.
• New graduates will not be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Hospital-based Telemetry unit position.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms for general surgery, bariatric, gynecological, urology and orthopedics patients.
• Utilize Heparin Drips, TPN, and PCAs with telemetry interpretation.
• EMR system is Epic.
• 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730, three shifts per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• Float to all acute care units; no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Telemetry unit position
• Patient population includes General Surgery, Bariatric, Gynecological, Urology, and Orthopedics cases
• Patients commonly present with cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones
• Utilizes Heparin Drips, TPN, and PCAs, requiring ability to measure and interpret telemetry rhythms
• EMR system is Epic
• 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730, three shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Float requirement to all acute care units
• No on-call requirements
• Provide nursing care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Facility is a nicotine-free workplace
• Holiday coverage required for Christmas Eve or Day and New Year's Eve or Day, based on unit needs
• Orientation includes multiple days at the KUKC Campus and Olathe campus, plus virtual Epic training followed by unit orientation on days
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
