Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a Med Surg/Tele unit in Dallas, TX. Requires TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of telemetry experience.

This 13-week travel assignment includes shifts 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with floating to multiple acute care areas and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidate must reside more than 50 miles away, have a current BLS, no recent work gaps over 90 days, and be able to provide one professional reference.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required.

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel assignment on a 36-bed Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
• Staffed with 10 RNs and 4 PCTs per shift; day and night shifts.
• Patient ratios range 1:4 to 1:6.
• Shift schedule 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• Uses Meditech EMR.
• Floating to all acute care areas incl. med surg, gen surg, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, ortho.
• Requires 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period.
• Provide nursing care for general med surg & telemetry patients.

• Floating required to all acute care areas including med surg, gen surg, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and ortho
• Requires 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Provide nursing care for general med surg and telemetry patients, including telemetry monitoring and non-titratable drips
• Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
