Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care (IMC)/Telemetry night shift. Requires 1 year of IMC/Tele RN experience at a large facility, with KS compact license and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS. Ventilator/titration experience preferred; new grads not considered.

Responsibilities include care for telemetry patients, 12-hour night shifts, and unit floating as needed. Perks include housing allowance, travel/licensure reimbursements, and non-taxed per diem subsidies.

Qualifications

• Active KS or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year IMC/Tele RN experience at a large facility
• ICU and Med/Surg experience preferred
• Experience with ventilators and titration drips preferred
• New graduates will not be considered
• 2-step TB test or blood draw completed within the past 12 months
• Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months
• TDAP vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Care for IMC patients with telemetry in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Floats to multiple units as required
• Provide nursing care to patients requiring intermediate cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Orientation begins in HR before floor orientation, every Monday

• Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months required
• TDAP vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Intermediate Care (IMC) unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Holiday coverage expected as needed to help the unit
• Floating required to 2 East Intermediate Care, 2 North Medical, 3 West Post-Surgical, and 3 North Overflow Med-Surg and Negative Air Flow units
• No on-call requirements
• Provide nursing care to patients requiring intermediate cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Orientation begins in HR before transitioning to floor orientation, occurring every Monday
