American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Telemetry/PCU RN in Frederick, MD. A valid MD or compact RN license and a minimum of 3 years RN experience are required. Night shifts are 3x12 hours with rotating weekends and holidays; there is a strong emphasis on cardiac monitoring and higher‑level observation.

Responsabilidades

• Work in 4G/PCU/Telemetry unit providing cardiac monitoring and higher‑level observation care.
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with CHF, NSTEMI, stroke, diabetes, and post‑surgical conditions.
• Nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:4 for PCU; typically 1:5 to 1:6 for telemetry.
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30) with weekends and holidays rotating.
• Float within scope as needed; MEDITECH charting experience preferred.
• Provide cardiac monitoring and higher-level observation beyond Medical‑Surgical units.
• IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, and respiratory management including BiPAP/CPAP.
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and rapid response/code activation.

• Work in the 4G/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry unit providing cardiac monitoring and higher-level observation care
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with CHF, NSTEMI, pre-cardiac catheterization needs, stroke, pulmonary disorders, diabetes, multi-system disease, and post-surgical conditions
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 for PCU beds and typically 1:5 (up to 1:6) for telemetry patients
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Float within scope as needed
• Block scheduling not available
• MEDITECH charting system experience preferred
• Provide cardiac monitoring and higher-level observation care beyond Medical-Surgical unit standards
• Skilled in IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, and respiratory management including BiPAP/CPAP and tracheostomy care
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response/code team activation
• Smoke-free facility
• Pre-start online training modules required, averaging 4-5 hours, to be completed no later than one week prior to start
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No radius rule in place; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• RTO requests reviewed and approved on a per-case basis
