- Provide nursing care for cardiac telemetry, PCU/stepdown
- Monitor and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias and codes
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips as needed
- Support wound care, post-surgical and orthopedic patients

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position on a mixed MS Tele/PCU unit requiring PA or compact RN licensure.
- Work on a Telemetry unit with a mix of MS Tele/PCU patients
- Patient ratios of 5-6:1
- Required to float within the hospital as needed
- May be required to float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
- Active PA or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
- NIHSS certification also listed
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Skills in IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, and cardiac monitoring preferred
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management preferred
- Provide nursing care for cardiac telemetry, PCU/stepdown, and related patient populations
- Monitor and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias, using rapid response/code teams as needed
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
- Support wound care, post-surgical, and orthopedic patients as part of unit responsibilities
- Travel pairs may be considered based on facility need, though matching schedules cannot be guaranteed
- Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
- Former permanent employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- Candidates must be available to work every other holiday
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
