American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit in Kentucky, with prior travel nursing background and pre-cath/port management skills. The role requires active KY license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, EPIC charting, and references.

Night shift 3x12 (19:00-07:30) with a schedule that includes weekends; potential to float to Edgewood and Florence campuses and to Observation/MS/MS Tele units. Travel specifics and housing allowances are provided.

Formación

• Active KY or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1.5 years telemetry experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with pre cardiac cath and port management
• EPIC charting experience
• At least 2 supervisory references
• COVID (medical/religious exemptions) and flu vaccination required

Responsabilidades

• Telemetry unit setting supporting ED boarders awaiting inpatient beds
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Schedule includes 4 weekend shifts and 3 Mondays/Fridays within a 6-week period
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Potential to float between Edgewood and Florence campuses and to Observation/MS/MS Tele units
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Strict no-call policy in place
• Support ED boarder patients awaiting inpatient beds, floating to observation units as needed when boarder volume is low
• Only one holiday may be requested off for RTO; holiday coverage expected

• Fingernails must be natural, less than 1/4 inch, polish acceptable


• No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted


• No cafeteria on-site, but refrigerator and microwave provided

• Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at a reduced rate


• Travel partners not allowed for this assignment


• Returning staff must be away from full-time, part-time, or per diem employment for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler


• After 1 year on assignment, a 90-day system break is required before returning as a traveler


• Applicants cannot be in process for or have applied to a permanent role with the health system within the past 6 months
