American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 12-bed acute rehab unit in Tennessee. Licensure must be TN or compact, with at least 1 year of hospital experience. Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, every-other weekend, no on-call.

The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary therapy team to support adult and geriatric patients in regaining strength and independence. Travel assignments offer housing allowances, licensure reimbursements, and weekly payroll; candidates

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN hospital experience required.
• ASN or BSN required.
• Prior hospital setting experience required.

Responsabilités

• Inpatient Acute Physical Rehabilitation Unit within an acute care hospital.
• 12-bed unit serving adult and geriatric patients.
• Average patient ratios of 3-5:1.
• Common diagnoses include stroke, Parkinson's, S/P CABG, S/P orthopedic surgery, debility, TBI, and multi-trauma.
• Patients are medically managed but stable enough to participate in 3 hours of therapy daily.
• Uses Baxter IV pump, Masimo vitals machine, Kangaroo TF pump, and bladder scanner.
• Charting completed in Meditech EHR.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Every other weekend or as-needed weekend coverage required.
• Rarely floated to other units.
• No call requirements.
• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric rehab patients working to regain strength and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team to support patient recovery goals.
• A motivational, encouraging personality suited to supporting patients through rehabilitation is preferred.
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not permitted.
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment.
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
