American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in Texas. The role requires TX or compact licensure and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with a day shift and a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

The 66-bed acute rehabilitation facility treats geriatric and neuro patients and uses Cerner EHR. Travel and licensure reimbursement, housing support, and comprehensive benefits are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in TX or compact required.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA).
• 1+ years of nursing experience.
• Nursing degree required (LVN, ADN, or BSN).
• Experience with neurological diagnoses is common in this unit.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 66 beds.
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating geriatric and neuro patient populations.
• Patient ratio of 7:1.
• Day shift schedule with a consistent block of Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly; variable weekend hours.
• No call requirements; uses Cerner EHR.
• Provide rehabilitation nursing care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, and related injuries.
• Facility is CARF-accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury Specialty Programs.

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Report time is 6:45 AM; check in with Charge Nurse upon arrival

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
