American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Rehab RN for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in California. Active CA RN license and 2 years of rehab or inpatient experience are required.

BLS certification also required. The role involves caring for adults 18+, with typical stays around 12 days, and a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on day shift. Cerner EHR is used; travel assignment requires residency more than 60 miles from the facility.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of rehab or inpatient setting experience.
• Closed-toed shoes required.
• Short, non-acrylic nails required.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsabilités

• Work in a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with current census of 35.
• Unit treats spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputations, and patients requiring extensive wound care.
• Patient population is adults 18+, including isolation patients and those requiring restraints.
• Average patient stay is 12 days.
• Patient ratio of 1:5.
• Uses Cerner EHR system.
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No float requirements.
• Provide specialized rehabilitation nursing care tailored to individual patient recovery needs.
• Navy blue scrubs preferred for RNs but not mandatory.
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment.
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment.
