American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring a PA or Compact RN license and acute inpatient rehab experience.

The position features a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM night shift, a 1:6 patient ratio, and a travel-friendly environment with Epic EMR. Community hospital setting with opportunities for flexible scheduling and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Active PA or Compact RN license in hand.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Acute Inpatient Rehab experience.
• Community hospital experience.
• Experience with blood glucose monitoring.
• Experience with care and management of ports.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Acute Inpatient Rehab unit within a community hospital setting.
• Patient ratio of 1:6.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and every other holiday required.
• Floating required to Med/Surg and Telemetry units.
• No call requirements.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius, though local candidates are accepted at a different rate.
• RTO must be submitted at time of application and cannot be added afterward.
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• PA fingerprints are required and must be completed within one week of signing, which may involve travel of over 100 miles.
• Pass/Fail clinical exam required for clearance with a maximum of three attempts.
• Provide direct patient care including IV therapy, insulin protocols, wound care, and patient teaching.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
