Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Psychiatric RN with pediatric/adolescent psych experience for a facility requiring phlebotomy skills and a NH or compact RN license. The role offers flexible scheduling and inclusion in a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care.

Ideal candidates will have active NH/compact RN licensure, BLS, CPI, and pediatric psych nursing experience, plus phlebotomy willingness. Travel and housing support are provided to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• CPI certification required.
• Previous pediatric psych nursing experience required.
• Phlebotomy experience with willingness to perform blood draws on pediatric/adolescent patients.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric/adolescent psychiatric and residential treatment setting.
• Flexible shift scheduling.
• Provides administration of medication and medical treatment as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Participates in comprehensive treatment planning with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Upholds the agency's practice model theories, beliefs, and principles in daily practice.
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility.
