Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week assignment in Indiana. Requires 2+ years of recent psych/BH experience and flexibility to float across adolescent, adult, and geriatric units. Shifts are 12 hours, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend.

Local candidates within 30 miles receive local rates; travel rates apply beyond that radius. EHR is WellSky and Omnicell is used for medication management. Royal blue scrubs are required.

Qualifications

• Active IN or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent behavioral health/psychiatric nursing experience.
• CPI or Handle with Care de-escalation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in Behavioral health facility with Adolescent, Adult and 55+ Geriatric units.
• Open to floating to any unit as needed.
• Manage adult patient population with low acuity.
• Maintain patient ratio of 1:5.
• Work 12-hour day shifts, 7am-7:30pm.
• FTE 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
• Document in WellSky EHR and manage meds with Omnicell.
• Royal blue scrubs required.
• Newly opened 120-bed facility onboarding unit by unit.
• Local candidates within 30 miles for local rates; travel rates beyond.
