American Traveler is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for a geriatric dementia unit in Tennessee. Requires active TN or compact RN license, 1+ year of RN experience, and BLS/HWC certifications. Inpatient unit with 24 beds, patient ratio 1:7, using Medhost EMR. Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; every other weekend.

Travel rate eligible; no on-call or floating. Housing and travel reimbursements provided. Applicants must reside 60 miles or more from the facility and have no recent LifePoint permanent

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and Handle With Care (HWC) certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required.
• Experience working with dementia patients required.
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start.

Responsabilités

• Inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit with 24 beds.
• Patient population is geriatric (50+) with dementia and behavioral disturbances.
• Patient ratio of 1:7.
• Uses Medhost EMR.
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• No floating requirements.
• Provide direct nursing care to geriatric patients with dementia and behavioral disturbances.
• Work within a calm, team-oriented environment that values getting along well with others.
• Scrubs must be solid colors and facial piercings are not permitted.
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment.
