American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PreOp position in the ambulatory/outpatient setting. CA RN license and BSN required, with prior pre-admission testing experience at a teaching hospital.

The role involves pre-op assessments, education, medication reconciliation, EKG, consent, and administration of sedation and MAC, with a 13-week assignment and 1:3 patient ratio. Will float within a 75+ mile radius to UCSF and other facilities.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required at time of submission.
• BSN required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 2 years of pre-admission testing/pre-op clinic experience required.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-op assessments, education, and medication reconciliation.
• Conduct 12-lead EKG/ECG and consent processes.
• Administer and monitor sedation and MAC.
• Float to UCSF units within a 75+ mile radius as needed.
• Provide pre-op and post-op patient care in a teaching hospital setting.
• Discharge instructions and follow-up contact.
