Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Preoperative for a San Francisco assignment. The RN will support preoperative assessments, patient preparation for surgery, and may float between units and facilities to provide care.

Essential requirements include CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a BSN. 0 years of experience required; travel experience preferred. The role offers 40-hour weeks, days, for 13 weeks. Must be vaccinated per policy.

Qualifications

• CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• BSN degree required.
• 0 years minimum experience; travel experience preferred.
• Willing to work in California and schedule 8-hour days, 40 hours per week.
• Ability to float to other UCSF units and facilities as needed.
• Must have COVID-19 vaccination/booster per policy.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, perform airway assessments and medication reconciliation.
• Complete pre-admission testing and provide pre-op education.
• Monitor patients during procedural sedation and support diverse populations.
