Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to support Pre-Operative, PACU, and Endoscopy units across Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Houston. The position requires flexibility for float assignments and varied shifts, delivering high-quality patient care.

Candidates should hold an ASN or higher, Texas RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 3+ years in PACU/Pre-Op/Endoscopy. Travel between sites is required, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher
• Texas RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• 3+ years RN experience in PACU, Pre-Op, or Endoscopy; cross-functional in two of three areas
• Willingness to travel between ASC locations and work varied shifts

Responsibilities

• Follows nursing standards of care and nursing process
• Conducts assessments, assists exams and treatments, maintains records
• Communicates patient information to physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, families
• Performs safe nursing care per ASPAN, AORN standards
• Participates in preoperative call process and routine checks
