Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a qualified RN to coordinate ASC Endoscopy PACU and Preoperative operations. This role requires strong clinical leadership, adherence to regulatory standards, and collaboration with nursing leadership.

Applicants should have an ASN or higher, Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 3+ years in PACU/Endoscopy with pre-operative assessment experience. Local benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree required.
• Texas RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 3+ years RN experience in PACU, PreOp or Endoscopy.
• Experience with pre-operative patient assessment and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations of the ASC Endoscopy area (PACU/Preoperative).
• Coordinate with Managers and Director on staffing, policies and education.
• Promote Quality Improvement, Infection Control and Safety plans.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, supplies and controlled drugs.
• Document medical records accurately and timely.
