Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric Stepdown RN with vent, trach, and G-tube skills for a unique children's hospital unit requiring 2 years of experience and an active IL RN license in hand.

The unit houses 39 beds with diverse pediatric care, patient ratios of 1:3-4, and day shifts (7:00-19:30). This 13-week assignment includes lodging and meals with comprehensive travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license in hand; compact licenses not accepted.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in pediatric acute care.
• Vent, trach and G-tube experience required.
• 1:4 patient ratio experience.
• Meditech charting experience

Responsibilities

• Care for pediatric stepdown patients with vent/trach/G-tube needs.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3–4 and operate in 7:00–19:30 shifts.
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs.
• Adhere to RTO and credentialing requirements.
