American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Travel RN for Pediatric Stepdown in Columbus, OH. The nurse will support care in the Pediatric Stepdown unit for cardiac patients, including post-op and critical care tasks, with rotation between day and night shifts.

Applicants should have 2+ years in pediatric cardiac stepdown, active OH/Compact RN license, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS). Travel experience required; no local candidates within 60 miles.

Qualifications

• Active OH or Compact RN license in hand.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric cardiac stepdown experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a pediatric hospital.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Proficient in pediatric dosage calculations.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Stepdown unit.
• Care for pediatric cardiac patients, medical and surgical.
• Trach/vent management and post op care as described.
• Operate within Epic EMR system.
• Rotate day and night shifts every 6 weeks.
• Occasional weekend work and unit floating.
